Einni annarri ókeypis afþreyingu handa þeim sem af slíkum afþreyingum hafa gaman er ég að gleyma. Hér er ein „Finna leiðina“ þraut sem ég dúllaði við að setja saman núna yfir Jólin.
Mig langaði nú bara til að vita hvort það væri ekki hægt að setja saman svona tegund af þrautum í Minecraft en þrautin sjálf er ekki eftir mig, ég hermdi bara eftir handteiknaðri þraut eftir einn þekktasta smið svona þrauta í dag og með hans samþykki enda ég ekki að gera mér neinn peningalegan mat úr hans höfundarefni. Þess fyrir utan þá er hann sjálfur með þessa þraut á sínum vef þar sem öllum er frjálst að hlaða henni niður og prenta út til þess að glíma við hana sér að kostnaðarlausu.
Mér þótti þetta svo gaman, að núna er ég er að prófa mig áfram með að semja sjálfur svona þrautir og setja þær upp í Minecraft en ekki hafa þær handteiknaðar. En þetta er tímafrekt og skulum við tala sem minnst um klukkutímana sem fóru í að smíða þetta 
En fyrir þau ykkar sem viljið glíma við þrautina, þá á maður að byrja efst í stóra húsinu og með því að fylgja tröppum og stígum niður að litla húsinu neðst.
Ekki er leyfilegt að hoppa fram af brúnum af einum stíg eða palli niður á annan. Maður má bara fara milli palla og stíga þar sem eru tröppur. Auðvitað má svindla, en hver sá sem hefur gaman af því að svindla í þrautum er ósennilega að hafa af þeim gaman svo það er bara vandamál viðkomandi.
Vonandi hafa einhver ykkar jafn gaman af því að leysa þessa þraut og mér að smíða hana. Þyngdar stigið er nokkuð yfir meðallagi svo ekki æmta þótt rétta leiðin finnist ekki alveg strax
Working as a “riddler” making puzzles of all kinds for newspapers, magazines, and books, I’m always on a hunt for new kinds of puzzles. And, believe me, it’s plenty of them and loved by millions of people every day, so it’s not easy to stay fresh all the time, having to make at least one puzzle a day, 365 day’s a year, for my puzzles are so popular that I have to work 7 days a week, sic or not sic. Not been easy the last couple of years been so sic, but hi, one’s got to work for a living like it or not 🙁
On one of my “hunt” on the web, I stumbled upon a Maze type called “Find the way,” a type that has not interested me before, but then I thought, “Hi, way not try to make a maze like that in Minecraft?” (It’s the kind of ide you get when you’re sick and it Xmas holiday 😉 )
But I have never made a “Find your way” maze puzzle before, so I found one made by one of the most popular author of this kind of puzzles and asked him if I got his permission to remake one of his puzzle in Minecraft, a puzzle that nota bene he offers free for all to dowlode from his website, but of cos only for personal use.
He considered this a personal use and was really interested in how it would turn out. I’m got no plan to sell this picture to any magazine or publish it in a book, and I ask you the same if any of you are a puzzle maker for a living. This is only for personal use. You can print it out for your self if solving if the picture onscreen is to small for you to solve the puzzle.
And if you want to try to solve the puzzles, you are supposed to start at the top building and working your way down the stairs to the house at the bottom. You may only follow paths and use stars but newer jump between paths.
Good luck 🙂 It’s not so hard, but not the easiest one ether, somewhere in the middle. But I have found out that those that love this kind of puzzles are usually not looking for the hard-to-solve one, usually the best or funniest pictures.
It’s different in Minecraft and I think mush more interesting and now I’m “spending” precious time that I should be working for money in Minecraft plus learning to make “Find the way” puzzles. I’m not going to tell you how many hours it took to make it in Minecraft, but let’s just say that if it had been a job for a client, I would only have got a few cents per hour 😉
